Born in 1952 Belgrade, my artistic journey began in the mountain town of Krusevo, Macedonia Europe’s highest altitude settlement. There, among church frescoes and my uncle’s stable animals, I discovered colors that would shape seven decades of creation. From the cultural crossroads of Sarajevo to the yacht ports of Vrsar, from Caribbean shores to Asian temples, I’ve carried my palette across five continents. Now based in Melbourne, I continue to transform life’s rich tapestry into art that breathes, incorporating real objects vintage postcards, hand-made lace, military medals into oil paintings that blur the line between memory and medium.
